If you’re like me and you’re constantly dreaming of pretty things, this early spring ethereal wedding inspiration should satisfy your eyeballs for a few minutes 🙂 A few weeks ago, I had the absolute honor of shooting with some of the best in the Minnesota wedding industry when I attended Jake Anderson’s one-day intensive workshop in Minneapolis. Attending a film wedding workshop was one of my goals for 2017, so when Jake announced a condensed version of his workshop so close to home, I jumped on the opportunity to spend the day shooting by his side.
All I can say is this: If you’re a photographer and are debating whether a workshop is worth your investment, just do it. Learning is ALWAYS worth the money. And if you have the chance to shoot with Jake like I did, don’t even think further, just secure your spot! I promise you will definitely not regret it!
Our day in Minneapolis started at LAB MPLS, a super-cool shared creative space with all white (exposed brick) walls, big windows and unfinished concrete floors. It’s completely industrial, and a photographer’s dream. The inspiration for our shoot was bare in nature. Basic elements from nature were brought into this seemingly rough and unfinished space to create something beautiful. Ashley Fox Designs and Blush and Whim partnered to create this early spring ethereal wedding editorial magic, and it was such a blast to capture. The images in this post are about 80% film, with a few digitals scattered in. My version of a perfect day <3
Sending a HUGE thank you with lots of love to the wedding industry rock stars that brought this vision to life:
