I have such a soft spot for winter sessions. Yes, they’re cold (this one was freezing), they’re usually windy, and almost always cloudy. And yes, I love summer and fall sessions as much as the next person. But there’s something about those winter neutrals, light flakes in the air and perfect cloudy lighting that make winter sessions so soft and perfect.

Mix that together with a drop-dead-gorgeous couple, and you’ve got yourself a winning recipe 🙂 Lidia and Daniel met me in the Chicago suburbs for their engagement session, and it was the first time that we were able to meet in person. I quickly saw how sweet and genuine these two are! They’re planning a tented reception in the city this summer, and I’m so excited to be there with them on their big day.
