Oh how I loved this session! Mel, Patrick and I met at Baird’s Creek one early fall afternoon after it had poured all day. The usually sunny park was was overcast and rain was still dripping off the trees when we met for our session. Now, I’m never one to complain about a cloudy day. While I do love the sun, and those gorgeous back-lit images, I love cloudy days and the moodiness that comes with them just as much.
Mel did such a great job planning for our session! She hit up one of the greatest stores ever, Hobby Lobby, for some props to bring her picnic-inspired engagement session to life. Oh, and those lanterns? PERFECT for a gloomy fall day. I loved all of their little details! Plus, these two are super adorable, so it made for a pretty stunning afternoon 🙂
Patrick and Mel, I cannot wait to be a part of your wedding day!
