I’m so excited today because we are celebrating the one year anniversary of our Green Bay chapter of the Rising Tide Society. So I know that if you’re one of my clients or just someone who loves my work and who has been following along with me during my journey, you probably have no idea what the Rising Tide is. What the heck, right? But I feel compelled and inspired to tell you about it today because it really is one of the main reasons that I’ve grown so much as an entrepreneur and business owner throughout the past year.

So… what is the Rising Tide Society? Well, aside from having a really cool name, we are creative entrepreneurs and small business CEOs that believe in community over competition. We are artists, bloggers, boutique owners, calligraphers, designers, event planners, florists, makeup artists, photographers, stylists, wedding professionals and writers that believe in learning from our friends in the industry in order to further our industry. Most importantly, we believe that improving another’s business helps us improve ourselves (any who couldn’t use a little improvement, am I right?!).

Tonight, we’re celebrating! And I have so much personally to be excited about, thanks to this group. For starters, I’ve met so many wonderful people who go through the same trials and triumphs that I do each day. These people understand me, and they know how to relieve my stress when I need it 🙂 They’re also some of my biggest cheerleaders, and we’ve had a lot of fun celebrating our successes. But overall, my favorite part about this group of people is everything that I’ve learned from them! It’s given me an opportunity to get to know some of the people that I look up to in the industry, and I’ve formed some awesome relationships so far.

So, here’s to us GB Rising Tide! I can;t wait to see where the next year takes us.
