I'm a witty & sarcastic lover of life. Always happiest with a film camera or glass of wine in hand.
I'm on decade three, and I live a simple, happy life with my fiance Andrew and our Westie Ollie in a 1940's colonial. When I'm not photographing weddings, you can find me at my bridal boutique, my second love Tie the Knot Bridal, where I get to play with wedding dresses all day.
There was a time when I thought that all I ever wanted was to be an executive and run a giant company. Then I discovered photography and realized that I'd much rather photograph love stories than sit in a board room discussing budgets.
In 2013, I created Jessica Bedore Photography, and since then, I've been honored (like really, super blown away!) to have had the opportunity to be a part of more than 250 wedding days. That's surreal to me. It's completely my dream, and all I want to do is continue keeping it real while living a happy, fulfilling life.
What's a hybrid shooter anyways? Let's chat about that. We love film for so many reasons, but mostly, we shoot film because it's timeless. While digital photography has truly taken over the wedding industry since its introduction, film still holds a special place in our hearts. We love the natural grain of film, we love the color profile, and we love the flow between highlights and shadows that film provides.
Most of all, our favorite thing about film is that it forces us to slow down and shoot intentionally. Since each roll only holds 16 frames, every image we craft on film is a work of art, framed and captured intentionally. Plus, we get to walk around all day with an antique in our hand that sounds like a dinosaur when we hit the shutter. So that's neat, too.
