For real though. I spent years trying to be a professional, prim photographer. I would stay up late working on buttoned-up email templates and crafting the perfect answers to client inquiries. But then I realized, that's just not how I roll.

So here I am. I'm Jess. I'm now in my late 20's (AHH!), I own a little cape cod in the city (and it's usually messy), I just adopted my Westie puppy Oliver and I drink entirely too much wine. I'm outgoing, but my favorite weekends are spent at home, in sweat pants, working on this little business of mine.

During the day, I live the dream and work in public relations for a company that makes snowblowers and lawn mowers. I used to think that all I ever wanted was to be an executive and run a giant company. Then I discovered photography and realized that I'd much rather photograph love stories than sit in a board room discussing budgets.

In 2013, I created Jessica Bedore Photography, and since then, I've been honored (like really, super blown away!) to have had the opportunity to be a part of more than 50 wedding days. That's surreal to me. It's completely my dream, and all I want to do is continue keeping it real while living a happy, fulfilling life.

I'M JESS. A GIRL WHO'S NOT A FAN OF BEING PROPER. I LIKE TO THINK OF MYSELF AS "PROFESSIONALLY UNPROFESSIONAL." YOU KNOW... FUN, BUT NOT ANNOYING.

I've dreamed of adopting a Westie puppy, and this year I finally did it! Oliver is my pride and joy, even though he's stubborn and sassy.

In 2016, I purchased my first home! This gem was only the second house I saw in my search, but its 1940's Cape Cod charm stole my heart, and I had to have it.

Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. We spend it every year at our cabin with the crew of cousins. In fact, I love it so much I never shoot weddings on that popular weekend!

i'm obsessed with traveling and seeing new things, especially when i get to see them with my best friends. i've never, ever regretted any trip i've taken.

What's a hybrid shooter anyways? Let's chat about that. We love film for so many reasons, but mostly, we shoot film because it's timeless.

While digital photography has truly taken over the wedding industry since its introduction, film still holds a special place in our hearts. We love the natural grain of film, we love the color profile of Fuji 400 stock, and we love the flow between highlights and shadows that film provides.

Most of all, our favorite thing about film is that it forces us to slow down and shoot intentionally. Since each roll only holds 16 frames, every image we craft on film is a work of art, framed and captured intentionally.

Plus, we get to walk around all day with an antique in our hand that sounds like a dinosaur when we hit the shutter. So that's neat, too.
