When Nikki reached out to me about wanting a family photo session around Christmas time, I was super excited! I’m normally such a huge fan of winter photos, so I couldn’t wait to brave the cold with them. Well… let’s talk about cold. There are different levels of cold. There’s a normal level of cold, and then there was this day. It has to have been in the single digits, super high winds and of course we picked a park that wasn’t plowed or accessible (hello winter boots!).

All I have to say is… these guys were complete troopers! I didn’t hear one single complaint even though we were all pretty uncomfortable. They even gave me some awesome smiles and don’t look like they’re freezing their butts off in these photos! WIN!
