Olivia + Zach | An Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Cobblestone Creek in Brillion, Wisconsin

I’ve been blessed this year with so many wonderful, down-to-Earth and truly in love couples. As a small business owner, I think it’s true to say that most of us dream of a simple world whee we can create art and work with people who support it and love what we do. Often times though, our relationships are transactional. I’ve always craved genuine connections, and in a world where that’s getting harder and harder, this year I’ve felt especially lucky to work with so many appreciative people.

Zach and Olivia are perfect examples of this. These two, as genuine as they are, feel the same way about connections. After having spent just a few hours with them, I could tell that they were both old souls. While they may not have met in any type of old school way (rather, online), their relationship is rooted in traditions and a love that they both value so greatly.

Here’s what Olivia had to say about their relationship: “I just have to say that Zach and I feel really blessed to have found each other. Meeting online as always felt like somehow it shouldn’t of worked out as perfectly as it has. We really are a great match with our silly personalities and similar life goals. But I think we also complement each other in the differences we do have. We’re both so happy to finally be married and to enjoy all the adventures life brings us as a married couple.”

Not only do these two value each other and their relationship, but they placed that same importance on their relationships with their wedding vendors. Each person and company that helped make their wedding day come to life was hand selected and carefully thought through. After their wedding was over, Olivia sent me the kindest words, so I wanted to share those here.

“Jessica is amazing to work with! She’s so sweet, down to earth and amazingly talented! My husband and I loved how Jessica’s style was to use natural light and natural poses. My husband was worried about getting someone who would parade us around and make us do awkward poses. Let’s just say he was very happy with my decision to go with Jessica! She’s such a chill person that we both felt very comfortable through engagement and wedding day photos. I felt like she captured us as we would be if there wasn’t camera in front of us. We had more fun taking our photos than I thought we would. On the other hand I loved how organized and efficient she was. She always responded to my emails fast and really helped me nail down the timeline of the day. On the day of the wedding we ended up running behind and I was afraid we weren’t going to have enough time for wedding party photos. Jessica’s professionalism really came through with the limited time, as she was calm and efficient. She made me feel more relaxed in a situation where I would have freaked out! We had just enough time to get some really great photos and I cannot wait to get them back. I would highly recommend hiring Jessica for your wedding photos!”
