Heath and Genevieve are two people who fell into my life in the strangest way. I actually met Genevieve in Las Vegas when I was celebrating my best friend’s bachelorette party. Genevieve was living in the Vegas area at the time, and she happened to be the sister-in-law of one of the girls on the trip with us. Anyways, Genevieve stopped by our hotel one morning (after a LONG night of too many Moscow Mules), and we got to talking about photography + her upcoming wedding. As they say, the rest is history. To this day, she is the first (and hopefully last) bride that I have booked completely hungover. Full disclosure here.
I have to say, this was one of my most favorite engagement sessions this year. Don’t get me wrong, I love each and every one of my sessions, and ALL of my couples. But these two were just so giggly behind the camera, and they couldn’t keep their hands off each other (in a cute way). Genevieve was SO nervous to have her photo taken. And when she showed up with a bottle of Fireball in hand to “take the edge off,” I knew that these were my kind of people.
Heath and Genevieve are planning the coolest summer wedding at Burlap and Bells in Black River Falls, Wis. From what I’ve seen of this venue, it’s going to be one for the books, and to say I’m excited would be a huge understatement. I’m literally counting the days until July 22nd.
LOVE you two, and I can’t wait to watch you become husband and wife!
