Lukas and Max were two of the most fun people that I had the chance to watch tie the knot in 2017. They honestly had me laughing the ENTIRE day. It was extremely easy to see how comfortable they were together and how truly in love they are.

For their wedding, Lukas and Max wanted to focus on what was most important– their love. Staying true to that vision, they planned an intimate ceremony with only their close family and friends in attendance. When it came to picking a venue, Heritage Hill Historical Park, which is only a short walk from Lukas’ parents’ house, was a no brainer. The white washed, natural light filled historical church was breath taking as these two exchanged vows. There wasn’t a dry eye in the church as Lukas’ parents married the couple.

My favorite thing about this entire day was the emphasis on family. Lukas and Max got ready at Lukas’ parents house, walked hand in hand to the church, and spent the afternoon celebrating on the lawn in front of the church with the people they love. Nothing over the top. It was simple, beautiful, and an amazing reminder that love is the only thing that should matter.
