2017 was an incredible year for me, not only because I photographed 18 awesome weddings, but also because I got to be a part of several of my friends’ weddings. This was one of those weddings. Julia was my college roommate for pretty much my entire time at UW Oshkosh (WAY back in the day). We spent an entire year in a 10 x 10 dorm room with two twin beds, a futon, two desks and a mini fridge, plus two more years in a (much bigger) house together… and somehow we managed not to kill each other. If that doesn’t speak loudly, I don’t know what does 🙂

So as roommates, I of course was there as Julia dated throughout college. I never thought any of those boys were right for her until I was introduced to Greg one night at a bar. After just a short time knowing him, and seeing these two together, I knew he was perfect for Julia. From the get-go, they hit it off, rarely argued, and eventually moved in together. It seems like the years have moved so fast since then. But everything has also come full circle. I was there for some of their first days as boyfriend and girlfriend, and this fall I got to spend with them their first day as husband and wife. THE BEST. <3
